Elements Green Trent Limited applied for Development Consent for the Great North Road Solar and Biodiversity Park on 27 June and it was accepted for examination by the Planning Inspectorate (on behalf of the Secretary of State) on 22 July 2025 (Application Reference: EN010162).
By submitting a Relevant Representation (a written summary of a person’s views on the Application), the person (or organisation) will then become an ‘Interested Party’ to the Examination.
Registration ensures that you will receive formal notifications during the examination process and gives you important participation rights. Any member of the public, business or group can register to participate in the examination. All representations made in relation to the Application must be submitted directly to the Planning Inspectorate. Representations completed in hard copy form should be posted to The Planning Inspectorate using the address provided in the notice.

Next Steps
Any Registration and Relevant Representation Form must be received by the Planning Inspectorate no later than 23:59pm on Thursday 02 October 2025.
By submitting a Relevant Representation, the person (or organisation) will then become an ‘Interested Party’ to the Examination. Interested Parties will receive ongoing correspondence from PINS and have the opportunity to submit written representations and attend and participate in the process.
