Event Details
Working with local biodiversity partners, we at Elements Green, the developer of the Great North Road Solar and Biodiversity Park, want to create opportunities for the local community to connect with, learn about, and help care for the more than 1,300 acres of biodiversity mitigation land proposed as part of the development, through activities that encourage understanding, monitoring, and stewardship.
Join us for an outdoor adventure and become a nature detective for the day. Guided by an RSPB expert, you will set off on a gentle autumn walk to uncover the hidden world of wildlife living on local farms. Together, we will explore habitats, learn about biodiversity, and trace the food chains that support birds and mammals. As we walk, we will look for signs of autumn life and clues left behind by animals, perfect for curious minds eager to learn more about nature and the environment around them.
